Student Position—Public Relations & Event Coordination


The DeepCwind Communications team at Advanced Structures and Composites Center is seeking talented public relations assistant and events coordinator who would:

  • Create press materials including but not limited to press releases, blogs, emails, and letters.
  • Assist in event coordination including vendor communications and logistics, printing and mailing, site management, booth organization, and guest interaction.
  • Cooperate in social media campaign management (blogs, Facebook, Twitter, Google Analytics).
  • Generate, pitch, and execute ideas for promotional activities.
  • Undertake other duties as required to ensure team deadlines are met.

    Appropriate candidates might be interested in theatre, interior design, fashion design, or print media.

Student Position—Research & Writing


The DeepCwind Communications team at Advanced Structures and Composites Center is seeking talented student writers and researchers who would:

  • Create professional written materials including but not limited to blog articles, whitepapers, and research briefs for the DeepCwind Consortium's National Research Program
  • Research and analyze various science, engineering, and interdisciplinary topics for summary and presentation.
  • Generate, pitch, and execute ideas for promotional activities
  • Undertake other duties as required to ensure team deadlines are met.

    Appropriate candidates might major in Philosophy, Economics, Political Science, or have writing- and research-intensive experience.

Student Position—Graphic/Web Design


The DeepCwind Communications team at Advanced Structures and Composites Center is seeking talented graphic designers or web designers who would:

  • Create and edit promotional material graphics for the DeepCwind Consortium's National Research Program
  • Cooperate in the management of DeepCwind.org
  • Generate, pitch, and execute ideas for promotional activities
  • Undertake other duties as required to ensure team deadlines are met.
  • Cooperate in social media campaign management

    Appropriate candidates might major in art, studio art, new media, or have design-intensive experience
