Are you interested in kick-starting your renewable energy career? Want to work with the world's leading research program in deepwater offshore wind technology sector? The DeepCwind Consortium and Advanced Structures and Composites Center are paving the way toward a clean, sustainable future and you can be a part of it.
DeepCwind Internships begin in Summer 2013 and last 8 to 12 weeks. Internship locations in the past have included:

- Bangor Hydro Electric Company
- Bath Iron Works/General Dynamics
- Central Maine Power
- Gulf of Maine Research Institute
- Harbor Technologies
- Island Institute
- James W. Sewall Company
- Maine Wind Industry Initiative
- Owens Corning
- SGC Engineering
- SMI-Strategic Marketing Innovations
- Technip USA
Some positions may require you to provide additional application materials and participate in face-to-face or telephone interviews. Applicants currently enrolled within the University of Maine System and/or Maine high schools will receive preference. University of Maine System graduating seniors are ineligible for this program. Internships for high school students are housed at the Advanced Structures and Composites Center. Internship descriptions will be posted here as they come available.
All DeepCwind internships are paid. Wages vary based on the location of your internship. Students pursuing out of state internships may be eligible for a scholarship that can be used to defray travel or housing expenses.
